Helpdesk Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for employees needing technical assistance, ensuring systems across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments run smoothly. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network infrastructure, implement security measures, and help maintain a reliable IT environment that supports business operations.

This position involves handling support requests, monitoring system performance, and documenting solutions for future reference. You will collaborate with other IT staff, and ensure the highest standards of security and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot multi-OS systems
  • Manage network infrastructure (Aruba, pfSense)
  • Ensure system and data security, and support endpoint protection

 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with scripting for automation
  • Experience with backup software and ITIL practices
